Acumatica Names Roman Bukary to Lead Partner Strategy and Programs

Acumatica named Roman Bukary as its senior vice president of partner strategy and programs on June, 16, 2026. The role puts him in charge of how the company builds and runs its partner ecosystem, including the resources and support VARs count on to grow their practices. He replaces CJ Boguszewski, who held the seat for about four years before leaving in January 2026 for a channel leadership role at Intuit. Bukary arrives with more than 20 years in enterprise SaaS and AI. He was most recently chief revenue officer at Netgain Solutions and before that spent over eleven years at Netsuite.

Acumatica sells entirely through its partner channel. A new exception that’s being tested is APEX, a fixed-price, SaaS-only Acumatica package for certain businesses with up to fifty employees. APEX bundles software, implementation, training, and support into one monthly fee, and buyers get an online quote and appear to initially work with Acumatica’s own sales team rather than a VAR.

He steps in about two months before Ascent, Acumatica’s first partner-only conference, set for August 17 to 20 in Denver. The timing gives him an early chance to meet partners in person and set the tone for how he plans to work with them. For VARs and ISVs heading to Denver, it should be a first read on his priorities, and on whether the partner program shifts in any real way under new leadership.
