Sage is expanding its North American headquarters in Atlanta. The company has deep roots in the city, dating to its 1998 acquisition of Peachtree Software (now Sage 50), which brought Sage into the Atlanta area with an office in Lawrenceville, GA.
Sage later shifted its U.S. headquarters from California to Atlanta, moving to Atlantic Station in 2015. In March 2025, it opened a new 58,000 square foot North American headquarters at 619 Ponce de Leon Ave, inside the mixed-use Ponce City Market development.
Now Sage is adding another 32,000 square feet at that same location. The expansion would allow Sage to grow its Atlanta headcount from around 450 employees to 650. It is expected to be complete by Fall 2025.
They still maintain the office space in nearby Lawrenceville. Given Atlanta-area traffic, this location is more accessible for some local employees.
Darcy visited the Ponce office in February to attend the SWK Sales Kick-Off and was thoroughly impressed with the design and layout. It’s very modern, with a media studio, tech-equipped meeting rooms of all sizes, open spaces for casual meet-ups, lots of greenery, and on-site baristas.
