Acumatica Opens Summit 2026 In Seattle

  • Acumatica moved beyond concepts to showcase practical, role-aware AI tools and sentiment analysis available now.
  • The company announced the acquisition of CoreChain and a new integration with AvidXchange to deepen AP/AR automation.
  • The event has drawn more than 3,000 attendees to the new Seattle Convention Center.

Acumatica hosted its 11th annual customer and reseller conference in its home base of Washington, for the first time in Seattle. The event, which CEO John Case opened, took place in Seattle’s newer, 570,000 square-foot Summit convention center. Case noted that Seattle is a city where “the future is constantly under construction.” The event featured dozens of sessions and the largest ISV marketplace to date.

Acumatica reported over 3,000 community members are attending the event. However, during analyst briefings, the company did not update its total customer count. The only figure provided was “more than 10,000,” which remains Acumatica’s last official user-base count from 2023.

Here is what I view as the primary message and theme for the opening day keynote:

  • Performance, partnership, momentum
  • Digital replica/system of intelligence; one version of the truth
  • AI Studio, AI Assistant (26 R1), business events (no-code/low-code)
  • Industry editions (Manufacturing, Distribution, Retail, Construction, Professional Services)
  • Impact today, not tomorrow

Last year, the focus on AI and better performance hinted at this year’s changes. This year is being described as a turning point where that potential is creating visible, useful results in the product. Over the past two years, Acumatica has gone from carefully trying out AI to clearly stating its goal to be an AI-first company. This fits with what the rest of the industry is doing.

AI features showcased at Acumatica included a CRM sentiment indicator that not only analyzed notes but also predicted prospect closure rates. Additionally, a demonstration of the AI Assistant (scheduled for 26 R1) was presented. This role-aware, embedded AI is designed to support various users such as controllers, salespeople, warehouse managers, or support agents. It works by answering business questions like “Show me 5 most profitable items,” visualizing results, and suggesting follow-up actions.

Expanding Financial Operations

Beyond AI, Acumatica made significant announcements regarding its financial stack. The company announced the acquisition of CoreChain and a new partnership with AvidXchange. Along with their existing relationship with BILL, these moves are designed to deliver embedded accounts receivable and accounts payable automation. The goal is to provide modern, scalable payment workflows that reduce reliance on disconnected third-party tools.

Case noted nearly 1,000 features and enhancements shipped which include first-gen AI Studio, AI anomaly detection, modern UI, major integrations, and industry depth in areas like construction document management and MRP.

The keynote featured two notable customer success stories:

Acumatica Customer of the Year: Storm Smart

Since 1996, Storm Smart has been one of Florida’s leading providers of hurricane protection for homes and businesses. Supporting its rapid scaling, which included doubling revenue, expanding from two to seven branches, and growing to over 430 employees in the last five years, Storm Smart replaced its legacy homegrown system with Acumatica as its core system of record. This move provided the crucial visibility, automation, and scalability necessary to ensure efficient, multi-location operations and maintain high-quality service while continuing to grow.

Acumatica Impact Customer of the Year: PSI Family Services

Founded in 1979 by two female, African American psychologists, PSI Family Services is a community-based nonprofit dedicated to supporting those in need across Washington, DC, and Maryland. As their operations expanded to include clinics serving 800–1,000 individuals and a staff of about 110 employees, PSI transitioned to Acumatica Cloud ERP, replacing an aging system that lacked the necessary scalability. Acumatica now delivers the security, flexibility, and visibility PSI requires to manage thousands of claims and integrate electronic health records effectively. This resilience allows the staff to focus on providing long-term, high-quality care and positive impact within the communities they serve.

Acumatica Summit 2026 continues through Wednesday, January 28, 2026, with further sessions covering product roadmaps, developer training, and industry-specific breakout groups.

If the first day is any indication, the focus for the year ahead is clear. Acumatica is moving beyond the hype of AI to deliver concrete, usable tools that drive real impact for its growing customer base.
