Acumatica announced a new partner-focused conference at their Summit event in Seattle last week. Acumatica Ascent will run August 17-20, 2026 at the Gaylord Rockies Resort and Convention Center in Aurora, Colorado. The event is designed specifically for VARs, service partners, ISVs, OEMs, and Alliance partners, with attendance capped at around 850 people. Acumatica says the registration fee will land somewhere between $850 and $1,000, which they describe as a break-even price point. Hotel is not included. The pass covers breakfast and lunch most days, but dinner is on your own. Sponsorship opportunities will be available in limited numbers. Interested parties can reach out to [email protected].
Getting into Ascent requires an application. The nomination window opens today (January 29) and closes February 26. The application asks for your name, company, and who your primary Acumatica contact is. This is presumably to help verify partner relationships and manage the limited capacity. Once the nomination period ends, accepted attendees will receive confirmation emails with registration instructions. According to the Ascent website, the conference will offer hands-on training tailored to each attendee’s experience level and area of expertise.
One open question: who exactly should partners send to this event? The website mentions “hands-on training,” which sounds technical, but the FAQ describes Ascent as offering “comprehensive education and role-based training” for the partner ecosystem. That’s pretty broad. If you’re a partner trying to decide whether to send salespeople, consultants, or developers, the answer isn’t clear yet. It’s possible Acumatica is waiting to build out the content based on who actually applies.
One more thing worth noting: the August timing could be tricky for some partners. Mid-August falls right in the middle of summer vacation season for many families, and in states where schools start early, kids may be heading back to class right around August 17-20. If you’re planning to attend, you’ll want to check your calendar early and book accordingly.
