Evergreen’s Pine Services Group entered the Australian market by acquiring Stratus Consulting Group, marking its 17th deal in a rapid global expansion. Stratus brings specialized expertise in MYOB Acumatica and Microsoft Dynamics 365 Business Central, along with a HubSpot practice that represents Pine’s first move into the Customer Relationship Management (CRM) space.
Stratus Consulting Group joins the Pine portfolio as a dominant mid-market player in the Australia and New Zealand (ANZ) region, supported by a team of over 55 specialists across hubs in Sydney, Melbourne, Brisbane, and Perth. The firm has executed more than 700 ERP deployments for a client base exceeding 1,000 organizations, largely within the retail, manufacturing, and construction verticals. Its offerings include MYOB Acumatica Diamond status, Microsoft Dynamics 365 Business Central expertise, and Elite status with Wiise, alongside a Platinum-level HubSpot practice. The Group has won four MYOB Australian Partner of the Year awards and multiple Wiise accolades for growth and customer success, positioning Stratus as a key regional asset.
This acquisition reflects a growing trend where local Enterprise Resource Planning (ERP) VARS join global holding companies to secure recurring service revenue. For VARs (Value Added Resellers) and channel professionals, the deal highlights the challenges of remaining a pure-play ERP provider as competitors scale internationally and integrate front-office service offerings.
P.S. Enterprise Software Podcast first broke this news on Episode 201, where Pine’s Dustin Anderson and Conor Melbourne told us how they view Stratus fitting into the organization. Listen to Episode 201 here.
