SilverTree Equity has acquired mhance, a U.K.–based Microsoft solutions partner specialising in Dynamics, Azure, Power Platform, and AI-driven data services. The move is aimed at supporting both organic growth and further M&A activity, enhancing mhance’s capabilities and reach.
The company currently employs over 120 people and serves about 500 customers across the UK and Ireland, including high-profile organizations such as WWF, RSPB, and Médecins Sans Frontières. As part of the deal, tech veteran Julian Stone will step in as executive chairman. Stone founded the Microsoft partner Pythagoras and later joined EY following Pythagoras’s acquisition.
Alan Moody, mhance’s CEO, said that SilverTree’s backing will help accelerate the firm’s ability to deliver measurable business value from AI, data, and business applications. Stone emphasized that as AI becomes deeply embedded in Microsoft’s cloud stack, mhance is well positioned to support customers’ digital transformations by combining deep Microsoft expertise, track record in delivery, and proprietary IP to build tailored solutions.
