On August 5, 2025, STACK Construction Technologies announced a partnership with Pine Services Group, a holding company with a portfolio of mid-market ERP VARs and business application companies. Pine’s portfolio includes firms such as Alliance Solutions Group, ETHOSystems, NexTec, Alta Vista Technology, and i‑Tech Support. These companies continue to operate under their own brands, with Pine offering behind‑the‑scenes support and collaboration on best practices.
Unlike traditional ERP resellers that tend to rely heavily on publishers’ pre-set ISV catalogs and pricing, Pine’s model presumably gives it the scale to work directly with ISVs. This includes the ability to negotiate off-list pricing and integration terms – deals that might not be available to individual VARs. For ISVs like STACK, it opens a new distribution channel with built-in scale, while Pine and its firms gain improved margins and tighter solution alignment across their customer base.
STACK, which provides cloud-based takeoff and estimating software, will now be available through Pine’s Sage Intacct and Acumatica VAR network. The integration is designed to close the gap between estimating and ERP workflows, particularly in the construction vertical. STACK CEO Ray DeZenzo cited the benefits to contractors, including managing costs, improving collaboration, and connecting preconstruction tools to financial systems.
Chris Milan, Pine’s VP of Strategic Partnerships, framed the move as part of Pine’s strategy to invest in high-impact tools for its VARs. Rather than relying on publisher-assembled solution stacks, Pine selects technologies based on fit and negotiates directly, allowing each firm in its network to adopt the best mix of tools for their market without being constrained by standard ERP publisher pricing or bundles.
