Former Sage Intacct Executive Peyton Burch Joins Martus as Vice President of Channel Sales

If you’ve been in the Sage Intacct or ERP channel for any length of time, the name Peyton Burch should ring a bell. He’s a fixture in the partner community, best known for his fifteen years of building out VAR programs back at Intacct.

Martus Solutions – one of our sponsors – has tapped Peyton to be their new Vice President of Channel Sales. He replaces Chris Grady, who will manage partnerships with ERP publishers and vertical ERP providers.

Peyton Burch Steps In as Channel Sales Lead

The hire comes as Martus works to build out its global partner program.

  • The Background: Beyond his time at Intacct, Peyton has held senior roles at Deltek and ran his own consultancy helping ERP firms structure their channel strategies.
  • The Strategic Pivot: While Peyton handles channel sales, Chris Grady continues to lead strategic partnership initiatives. Grady joined Martus in June 2023 as Head of Partnerships and was promoted to Senior Director of Partnerships in June 2025. His focus remains on ecosystem alignment and technical collaborations with ERP providers and CPA firms. Former Sager Mary Orefice is also part of the team as Senior Director of Direct Sales.

Martus by the Numbers

  • Customer Base: They now serve over 1,300 customers globally.
  • Partner Network: They maintain a network of 90 active partners.
  • End Users: The platform has more than 26,000 users worldwide, with partners in the U.S., Canada, Australia, and South Africa.
  • Focus Areas: They’ve found consistent traction in the nonprofit, faith-based, and education sectors where real-time, collaborative budgeting is a major pain point.

Integration: Where Martus Fits

That customer base is supported by a broad integration footprint. Martus is designed to replace spreadsheet-dependent budgeting processes with a platform that integrates directly with the ERP.

They currently offer over 40 direct integrations with a wide range of mid-market systems, including:

  • Sage Intacct
  • Acumatica
  • Microsoft Dynamics 365 Business Central
  • NetSuite
  • QuickBooks and Xero
  • Blackbaud Financial Edge NXT

Martus has spent 17 years building toward this moment. With Macdonald setting revenue strategy, Burch owning the channel, and Grady focused on ecosystem depth, the leadership structure looks intentional. Whether that translates into meaningful partner growth is the question worth watching over the next 12 to 18 months.
