San Diego-based DSD Business Systems has announced the acquisition of the Acumatica client base of Chortek, LLP, effective November 1, 2025. According to the press release DSD, a recognized Acumatica President’s Club winner and long-time Value Added Reseller (VAR), was selected to ensure continued expertise for these clients. This move follows a similar transaction in January 2024, when Chortek sold its Sage software practice to RKL eSolutions. Founded in 1947 as a Wisconsin-based CPA and business advisory firm, Chortek’s recent divestitures appear to mark an exit from the ERP consulting landscape. The firm is now doubling down on its core competencies, listing Managed IT Services (MSP), accounting, and tax compliance as its primary focus areas
